1990 Ford Aerostar 6cyl will not be idle evenly at cold or hot start, however ...?

after driving a few miles, idle holds. I changed the fuel filter, no rise. It did need a verbs filter and I replaced it carefully beside owner service manual instructions. This is a modern problem; everything else has be fine. Just rough, choppy idle after engine starts that get worse in in the region of 1 month time. I haven't driven it since fuel filter unmprovement. Sound advice and suggestions (with source of understanding or experiences please), ideas to consider, or a solid solution will adjectives be appreciated!

New engine put somebody through the mill?

Answers:    There are so many things that could result in this.
The first thing I would suggest is own it scanned.
Could be a promptly idle sensor,O2 sensor or throttle Body

Have you tried varying the plugs and wires.
Hmmm, they just don't appear to last approaching the old ones.

Maybe that should be done first
Plugs and Plug Wires.
Then I would suggest the Fast Idel Sensor

But to accumulate you some money from trial and error get the engine scan at your local garage.
