I put my in dash DVD player surrounded by my car and blew the speed control fuse, the dome light/radio memory fuse, so i replaced them and now my instrument panel will not standard lamp up, my head lights work fine but every time i replace the fuse for the instrument panel it blows everytime, i dont understand why, i own put in CD players before and i dont follow how this one has the panel lights to do with anything, mabye raison d`¨ētre its alittle older, anyways i was wondering where on earth or what could be causing my fuse to blow every time i replace it? THANKS!
You've get a short somewhere, check your wiring on CD player.
Answers: it may be down fused, and or the dvd player requires more amperage. yoy may have a direct short. or even a discouraging dvd player is possible. i would suggest, putting the dvd player on its own power wire, with an contained by line fuse to an accesory block, this will tell you if its a short, or requires more power.
