My grandma's van won't go in reverse. When I checked the atf horizontal, there wasn't a drop on the dipstick. I filled it up, but the van still won't jump in reverse. It works fine in every other gear. I tried to look for anything abnormal it did when in reverse. The only things I could find are a small grinding racket when revving the engine, and the shifter handle didn't seem to certainly hit a gear (which could've just been my imagination) when surrounded by reverse.
