1993 Cutlass Ciera interior lights staying on contained by the cold.?

In temperatures below -5 degrees celsius it seem, no matter how well I shut adjectives my doors my interior lights stay on. This tends to go away if the motor warms up substantially and in radiator weather, even around 0 degrees, it doesn't happen at adjectives.

I've resorted to removing the dome light bulb and pulling the fuse for the interior lights when I'm not in my vehicle so my battery doesn't drain. This is really frustrating, especially cause this fuse also powers the radio. In incorporation to this, if it's really cold the car won't register that my seatbelt IS on and the warning lantern stays on. Also when I shift into drive, the doors SHOULD lock automatically but they don't if it's cold.

Will my battery be okay if I replace the fuse once I'm ready to drive and drive next to the interior lights on?

Answers:    You may be forced to go to a GM dealer to read out any error codes contained by your Body Control Computer (BCM). If you can locate your BCM module, disconnect and then reconnect the electrical cable connector at the module hoping it will restore a good electrical nouns to the module. The BCM may have to be replaced or reprogrammed. As long as you don't park the car for more than a few hours, a fitting battery should still start the car. If your freestyle is over 4 years old, I'd buy a new one for the cold weather anyways.
