Cuz its a honda...duh.

Is there any grease in it? Maybe your motor seized up. If thats the case its time for a contemporary motor or car. As far as the key not turning I havent a clue
I won't move about into the technicalities involved but I would put strong money on your starter having kicked the bucket. A rebuilt one from any coup¨¦ parts store would be relatively inexpensive and perfectly good.

My Truck is Running rough?

Sounds like your Starter wen't desperate. There are two parts to a starter; the motor and the solenoid. The minute you turn your ignition key, the solenoid pushes the small starter gear and engages it into the huge flywheel gear as it begins spinning. As the flywheel gear is turned, the engine cranks up and begins to start. Once you release the ignition, the solenoid disengages the small starter gear and shuts stale the starter motor.

The solenoid in your starter may have spoilt to disengage leaving the starter gear against the flywheel gear and making those sounds.

In similar worst case scenario, some people have started their coup¨¦ even with a bad starter by pushing the saloon while it is in gear. When in gear, your wheel, axle, and transmission gears are engaged right against the flywheel. Simulating a starter's mission of turning the flywheel is all that is needed to return with the engine started.

A new starter will cost you about $80 for the piece from a local auto parts store. It is accessible from underneath your hood and is bolted by screws below and behind your distributor and right against the nouns.

If you tried to jumpstart and it didn't work, you also might want to inspect your battery fuse underneath your hood. Chances are it may have blown to protect your battery-operated. If your starter motor was still engaged to the flywheel of your engine, it could feat like a tiny alternator and generate current back to your mobile as your engine continues to power and spin your flywheel and your starter motor. If you have completely no dashboard lights the minute you jumpstart your battery, there's a polite possiblility that this fuse has also blown.

Good luck!

Rear completion luck, at mistake, a few...

Maybe your timing belt slipped on the gears. You inevitability to let a shop look at it. If you want to do it yourself (HAYNES REPAIR MANUEL) for your type of car will share you how to check the timing. It's a big job but these books show you how with pictures and everything. Check AUTOZONE or other partstores surrounded by your area for a copy.

ignition switch stuck and have the starter engaged while the engine was running. when you drove it the rpms rose and the stater be spinning with the engine and is probably a piece of junk immediately. replace the switch and starter and look for bear wires.
