I recently bought this 1994 camry and the antenna doesn't work i found what two wires walk to it behind the stereo but i merely don't know where they stir. blk/red one and a purple/pink one. do i need to hook up to a hot lead and to the stereo somewhere or ground and hot. I need some aid please.
Answers: after market stereo? if so usually blue flex from stereo is antenna power. however there will be electric wiring diagram on stereo if after market, thats your best bet, if its anyones guess. no hot wire needed as stereo supplies power to antenna motor, check grounds and craft sure motor is not burned out(common problem) good luck!
The antenna plug is a big one, its usually black or grey and should be the biggest flex back in attendance. It usually plugs into the lower corner of the back of the deck. Check where on earth it plugs into the antenna as well. If its be replaced, its very possible they forgot to plug it wager on in.
