I just bought this coup¨¦ as a result of someone being really cool and watching another quirk, in turn reverse ending me and totalling (sp?) my pretty cool Infiniti G20. Of course i know there would be issues, as beside any used car, issues you don't find out until you've driven for a week or so. Well, the other daylight the speedometer quit working... and a while after that it shot back up to however express I was traveling. Last dark I noticed that while the speedometer is out of use, neither is the trip or the odometer! I'm not sure what to do, wasn't sure if any other Saab owners had experienced this problem and what may be a possible solution. Any relief, thoughts, suggestions etc are greatly appreciated. Answers: It's probably the electric pick up sensor on the gearbox as they do own problems.
It's where the cable screw onto and easy to replace.
I CAN ONLY SAY THAT YOU SHOULD GET THE VEHICLES COMPUTER SCANNED AND CHECK FOR ANY PROBLEMS AS WELL AS CODES.
I WOULD ALSO HAVE SOMEONE CHECK THE VEHICLE SPEED MODULE AS WELL AS THE TRANSMISSION SPEED SENSOR.
