1997 Land Rover Defender 90, service engine lantern on?

I am having a difficult time near this one this is a 97 Land Rover Defender 90 , I have a imperfection code P1317 that is the rough road signal did adjectives the tests for continuity found adjectives the wires from connector C636 to C501 to be intact etc.

The Service Reminder Unit is not behind the binicle, neither contained by the r/h front kick panel.

I also checked the electrics diagram and the wire that powers the service engine reading light comes from the engine control unit.

The service engine fluffy remains on!

Any sugestions?

Where can I buy a suitable vehicle...

Answers:    Check that all the abs sensors own no debris on them, are seated properly and the sensor retainers are lubricated and tight. Wabco uses a special gray grease to ensure that in that is no corrosion between the copper sensor bushing and the sensor.

You will have to check that adjectives of the sensors display the same speed. If not replace the incorrect sensor. Incorrect reading can be cause by poor connections. Check resistance and voltage reading on a DVOM.

you may have already, come across some of your problem. Your service reading light has an amber colored lens, which system, the problem in not to urgent all the same. I beleive Rovers like most Cadalacks, own level ride systems, next to air daypack suspensions. They adjust the air rucksack pressure, for smooth rides.

You may heve a small air discharge or some thing else related to your nouns ride suspension.
