when i acelerate over 50 an hour i notice some smell coming from the engine is not burning smell is like a doomed to failure odor and when i stop and go again i feel the gas pedal easier said than done to press,i turn the ignition off and on and the pedal works smoothly, what could it be,thanks a bunch
Answers: A plugged catalytic converter stinks desperate, like someone cut the cheese after eating rotten eggs. It could be approval up through the exhaust and escaping somehow through the engine compartment. That could also affect performance, but not sure if it could be any relevance to the gas pedal being concrete to press.
