2000 chevy blazer engine ticking (knocking) commotion??

I have a 2000 chevy blazer near around 150,000 miles and i have notice when i start it up like contained by the mornings( to go to school) or after conservatory in the evenings ( to come home) the engine make a knocking/pinging sound for a few second and gets louder as i rev the engine but after roughly speaking 15-20 seconds it is gone and i don't hear it again until after it sets for going on for 4-5 hours anytime before that it is tranquillity i have the grease changed every 3,000 and sometimes sooner and usually add engine restore.. i haven't notice a power diff. or any other driveability problems and it doesn't even always do it... is this serious or ok...

What do i entail to do coup¨¦...

Better go and get the rod and main bearing checked soon. If you catch it in a minute it may save your motor. When it warm up the engine gets tighter because the metal is expanding.

Will a couple of rims tire size...

1 of three things
1-- the timing could be advance which cause a pinging or crakling sound when rev
2- the tappets which are worn or involve adjustment
3-big end bearing on the crankshaft, which are worn which give you a knock sound

Just Installed fresh Drums, shoes and hardware...

Answers:    I'd voice that you have a nouns that is slow to pump up. Pretty typical on a saloon with that mileage. Keep up beside the oil and filter change and it really shouldn't be a problem. If you check with the local auto parts store or the Chevy parts dept. they can probably trade you something to improve the nouns. I'd probably trust Chevy over the parts store. Bearing knock doesn't go away when the engine warm up, by the way, as the previous posters own said.
