2000 Mustang, appreciation so far but 1 more ask and I should be OK.?

I have been have problems with my Mustang running rich, in luggage you have not seem my previous cross-examine post.

I am going to start out by checking my air filter and cleaning my Mass air flow Sensor (do the cheap stuff first)

When I verbs my Mass air flow sensor, using a cleaning spray, do I need to remove the sensor or can I depart it in place and clean it. Or is it even physically possible to verbs it without removing it.

Answers:    Make sure you use cleaner made specifically for Air mass meters, not carb cleaner. My Mercedes you can verbs while it's in place. I'd say if you can see it, and the can come with a straw, leave it surrounded by place. The Mass Meter cleaner evaporates seconds after you spray it.

I would replace the filter with a unknown one.The K&N filter are a good deal.I've put over 100,000 miles on one and still going strong.I verbs it every 20,000 miles.Paper filters only go and get 10,000 miles if your lucky.Check your tire pressure and clean the butterfly with carb cleaner.Change your spark plugs also to increase your gas milage

a mas airflow sensor has tiny wires contained by it easy to F up..ask dealer what to verbs it with...not carb cleaner...
