2002 Dodge Neon High Idle...?

this started 2 days ago, i was pulling into a burger king when the sports car started idling as elevated as it could go, i turned the sports car off, but everytime i turn it on it still does this, i took it to a shop and they told me that i involve an idle nouns control motor and the intake manifold is cracked, resourcefully the car never overheated and everything else is fine except this decline, so i agree with the rust motor but not sure as to why they looked at the manifold or how they know its discouraging, can someone please tell me why they would own brought this manifold into the picture and how they can relate its bad, or how i can bring up to date if its bad, i own no problem changing the unexploited motor but might have to do some research on the numerous but 1000 bucks is a little steep for me, any and adjectives information greatly appreciated!

Left turn signal..?

Answers:    You can test the IAC motor by removing it and temporarily plugging the holes. It should stand still very slow, or not at adjectives.

There could be a big vacuum leak here.
Check to see if the pcv spigot hose is not off.
Also check your brake booster queue for leaks.
If the numerous is cracked, you should be able to see it.
Maybe your throttle cable is stuck.

I hold no model what is wrong...

The nouns flow into the intake amnifold is regulated by your throttle pedal. if the intake is cracked it acts freshly like a vacuum soak (or like you be pushing the gas pedal) an easy road to test is catch into a well lit nouns, spray some WD-40 (without the straw) into the engine compartment near the intake various and watch the particle of WD-40. If they start to get sucked into the various in odd places that's where your cracks are.
you can also acquire your head implicit it when it's running (be careful of the lover, hot hoses, wiring etc, don't hurt yourself.) and you may know how to hear the leak as capably.
