I replaced the headlights of a 2002 Ford Taurus. It's these halogen bulbs inside a sealed headlamp box. It's sealed by a panama that screws in beside the wiring passing through it. The stamp has some type of lubricant on it. When I opened it up to thieve the bulb out and put the new one in; some dust/road dirt from outside the light box mixed into the lubricant where it seals together. Should I unfold it back up again, clean it adjectives off and re-lube it? Will water/moisture get contained by now? What type of lubricant does it use? My friend said "white lubricant", what is that and where can I buy it?
