I went in the region of a block from my home to the local bank on returning and getting out of the van I notice a "hissing" sound coming from beneath the van. There be steam coming from under the van not where on earth the radatior is located. While driving the dashboard didn't light up of give me any indication that the van was overheated. I put antifreeze and dampen in the radaitor but the juice just leak right back out from the underneath the raditor. I have my van checked a few months because I was have to constantly refill the radiator. I be told there be not a leak surrounded by the raditor but yet the point kept losing fluid. It was not leak into any other part of the engie I be told. My husband is deployed and I would like to know something going on for this issue before have to pay another mechanic . PLEASE HELP!! It is leak from the undercarriage not anywhere near the raditor.
Answers: sounds approaching radiator, lower hose, heater hose, heating system core or water pump filter or any combo of them. if it is a water pump consider have all hoses replaced at same time. Any pious mech will be able to describe where it is leak by doing a pressure test on the cooling system. if you live close to an installation go hang up out at the auto craft shop. some one there would be likely to help you out and most service member that hang out in that are trained unit mechanics next to experience
You obviously own a coolant leak somewhere, if you verbs to drive like this, it can raison d`¨ºtre a costly repair. If you dont know what is leaking I would thieve it to a shop and have it checked out. Most shops can check out a cooling system for around 20.00 and waive the tax if you get the work done at hand. If you dont want to spend the money then verbs to drive the vehicle and you can have repairs efficiently exceeding two thousand dollars, blown head gaskets etc.....
