my cars keyless entry/start has stopped working. i changed the battery but still zilch. it came with the coup¨¦. should i call the dealership to see if they can fix it? i don't think its the starter since it wont even lock/unlock the saloon. any suggestions?? its freezing out and I want my remote start back.

Answers: Is this an aftermarket installation? I know some remote starters are spliced in the electrical system. It could be the fuse is blown. If is factory made similar to some Malibu ( I think they came out on 07 or so) bear it to the dealer.
I am assuming is the one that you press the Lock 3 times to start the car? The factory remote starter for the Malibu have its own button that you have to press the Lock and Start button at the same time.
