2006 passat 2.0T Carbon build up?

I have a 2006 Passat that has be having issues with the check engine lantern coming on. This is the third time in three weeks it has be in the shop for the same problem. Last time they replaced adjectives 4 engine coils, and 4 days later the light come on again. From what i have heard so far the issue is a crbon build up, but they (the dealership) is not sure why nearby is such a build up. The car has 20k on it, I solitary use premium gas, and have had adjectives maintence done to date. I also drive it on the interstate daily (work commute), so its not from stop and go driving around town.
Any design?

What's the diff between moonroof and sunroof?

Answers:    Carbon buildup is caused from the ECM (computer) telling the engine it wants more fuel. Possible causes could be the O2 sensor on the exhaust being any defective or disconnected. Another cause could be a vacuum hose disconnected somewhere that relates to the EGR (exhaust gas recirculation).
Another problem could be a defective component in the ignition circut (coil, ignition module, etc.) i.e. not sending enough spark current to the plugs...

Somewhere, your computer is telling your vehicle it either needs more fuel and it is adding up it, or there is low spark from the ignition circut producing that carbon buildup.

You could go to Autozone, or Advance Auto Parts and enjoy them put the vehicle on their OBD2 analyzer for free.
At least you would be able to powsibly analyse the problem yourself.
