hi, i have a 206 1.4 lx (2001 reg). it is not running right, kangerooing around and have to be towed home as it got that impossible, it has be to a place where they tested the sports car by plugging into a laptop but no faults be found.
he looked at the engine and said sounds like an nouns leak, i hold cheaked all the breathers etc but i still carnt find it, it sounds close to it is coming from around the carb area but i cant pin point it.
im newly wondering if any one has any accepted wisdom or herd of this in the past, before i bear it garage?
i cant drive the car at the min any track (lost licence for a year) so i have a while to fix it lol.

Answers: Your car have fuel injection at that age.If its a single point system, its probably overfuelling?This doesnt always show on a code reader/fault finder,but will show up beside an exhaust emission check?hope this help
if you get a tin of carb cleaner and spray it round the breathers and nouns intake you will hear the car rev up on its own slightly when you hit be its leaking as it will draw the carb cleaner contained by very fast and burn it off. hope this help
