i thought that it was the freeze plugs at the back of the block, but they are accurate. rust spots are above the freeze plugs. its a little hole above the freeze plugs, that peice rotted out. so is that where the hose is leaking from
Hope this help - matt
How did you see the rear plug unless you pulled the motor or transmission completely out.? But what's you quiz? The leak could possibly be the freeze plug or the intake seal around a marine jacket.

Heater hose in the valley below the intake manifold, have to remove intake various to replace it.Remove the alternator then pressurize cooling system then examine under the manifold.

to see freeze plugs u need to remove tranny or engine...so its unproblematic to replace them...right!
go to an independent muffler shop.
ask them to put a weld (Mig welding) on it..
(fast and jammy method)
they have to remove the anti freeze and clean the nouns before the welding.
seem to me ,You have been using plain sea as antifreeze
second thought...all the plugs are about to present up.

Answers: there are more freeze plugs on the fund of the motor, you just can't see them because they are..
you guessed it between the engine and transmission, to repair this you will lucklessly need to drop the transmission and correction out the plug.
you could try to put some "stop leak" type product into your antifreeze, but this may only be a short term solution.
Best of luck.
