1999 FORD TAURUS. The car is not overheating, however the heat is not impressively hot, at best it gets about room warmth. It gets hotter when I rev the engine for about 10 second and the temp gauge never goes historic half.
I believe I have nouns trapped in the heater / cooling system, this sports car has no bleeder valve. How can I bleed adjectives the air pockets out of the system. Should I drive with the sunhat off for a while? Can I add fluid to another nouns of the system?
Please Help
make sure the coolant level is full, otherwise you probably entail a new thermostat. you can let the vehicle idle with the sunhat off for a while, if you think you own trapped air. but mostly they will disapate air themselves through the overflow resavoir.
Answers: Check for coolant level.
Air is released through the expansion tank an no bleeder is needed.
Temp Gage should merely go to half process.
I would suspect a blocked heater core. Flush out the heater and see if you return with an improvement. I have a 2000 which have the same problem. Clamp off the bypass hose to the oven when flushing (On mine there is a hose that bypasses the heater in the neighbourhood the firewall, which means even a small restriction cuts off almost adjectives flow)
