The question is not how big of a cam can you install but how big of a cam can your engine use short losing performance. This all depends on other factor such as vehicle weight, gear ratio, etc.

Check w/ the cam factory owner,they will have the info. you need to install the biggest cam soundly.The guy that responded first is correct,with a larger lift cam, you go before into all kinds of tuning nightmares,fuel,nouns,timing and changing springs,lifters and pushrods.He's right,look into tuning w/ a chip or handheld tuner.Swapping the cam may net you 50 hp at the most,but if you run your car to a performance shop,hold them strap it to a dyno and install a custom tune,you'll see a minimum of 50 hp and probably more.Hope this helped.

Answers: no need to do any cam or head work done it's adjectives got to do with the electronics take it re-mapped and chipped.that gets rid of the airflow metre it has unsettled valve timing and that has to do beside your PCM being re calibrated(computer) it's all in the order of fuel delivery. the more fuel the more lumpy it sounds. a set of pace maker and a nice exhaust system and you got yaself a machine. oh did i forget to mention 5000dollars then. AUD. ya have to change the lifters and tap springs and rods regardless of any after market cams!! 1st option is better!!
