On a 6.5 diesel fuel pump, 1994 to 1998, electronic pump, what is the voltage range at the fuel solenoid from low idle to illustrious idle, and is there any channel to test the Optical sensor? Also how many ohms at the fuel solonoid beside the wires disconnected? Please and thank you.
you should be able to turn key to ON and disconnect flex and connect again, you should be able to hear the fuel shutoff solenoid clicking, if not power or solenoid is discouraging, and yes its a 12vdc solenoid, -amps, i couldnt tell you, and ohms thru it couldnt tell you any, good luck

Answers: there is no way to check the optical sensor, what problem does the truck have? is the lift pump working?. you can't ohm out the fuel driver, it can singular be replaced. make sure to take the chip out of the aged driver and put it in the new one when you replace it or you will own all knids of problems
chec the power feed from the ign switch to the injection pump
for going below 12 volts, probably enjoy to put meter on min/max. or else fuel driver is bad or optical sensor contained by pump is missing cam counts causing it to stall

the pump doesn't own a range it is 12 volts and it puts out a psi and the engine either uses it or returns the fuel to the cistern. Don't know about the OP sensor. 1 ohm any more and it is going bad or is fruitless if say it reads resembling 8-10 or more.

Is a fuel pump for a turbocharged...
Finally a question over my chief. I dont know.. Hell just start replacing parts till the problem goes away... lmao.
