I hold a 1992 Cadillac Seville STS that will not start what might the problem be?

It is very cold outside and the batery had no fluids within it and the car makes a clicking roar when I try to start it. Is the problem a bad battery, a discouraging starter, or ab ad alternator. I will really appreciate if I could some advice.
