I have a 88 Fleetwood, every time I want to start the coup¨¦, put the key within the ignition and turn, the car doesn't appear to start. I already got my starter changed, and the alternator rebuild last year but the fixes be temporary. The mechanic said it is the ignition switch problem, but I don't know if I can trust this guy anymore. I want to know if anyone else is have or had this similar problem or know the problem that can facilitate me out

when you turn the push button does everything light up on the race like its have before --if it doesnt this would be a sign that the ignition switch is doomed to failure --does the starter click when turning the key -- if so next it could be a low battery -- could also be a fuse to the ignition -- or a fruitless fusable link or a desperate battery cable
