i removed drive line, verbs case is still engaded within 4 hi. how can i get it spinal column to 2 hi.
Answers: Do you live in a cold climate by any arbitrariness? try putting it in a heated shop or garage overnight. the 4x4 modulator is probably froze. If the gear lude have been replaced contained by the front axle, it might have too gummy of lube in it. OR the shift sensor for the 4x4 is stuck or froze wich lead to the 4x4 light staying on.......might enjoy a broken fork inside the transfer case<--not as thorny to fix as it sounds.
with drive smudge in 2 hi intact,drive surrounded by reverse powerfully for 5 feet or so,shift backbone in 2hi,should disingauge,if hubs are locked
