It sounds to me like the low roof beam bulbs have burned out. If you are holding the switch toward the steering wheel, you are using the "Brights-to-pass" function. If you push the switch toward the dashboard, the brights should work as capably. If they do, then replace the headlight bulbs.

If you want to fix this yourself, you really should buy yourself a 12-volt test night light. About $10 at any Auto Parts store.

Hold down "Ctrl" on your keyboard, then click this relationship to open it in another tab. Scroll down to; " 1987-96 Aerodynamic Headlamps-BULB ASSEMBLY " for tips on removing the sockets and bulbs from the housing, and removing the bulbs, at the appropriate time.

Attach the alligator clip of the oral exam light to the Negative Battery terminal, or a metal part of the sports car. Touch the pointy end to the Battery Positive terminal to test it, and be paid sure you have a good ground. It should wispy. Turn your main headlight switch on, and leave your dimmer switch contained by any position where the lights don't work. Pull the Headlight socket and bulb out, and pull out the bulb. You should use a verbs cloth so you don't get skin oils on it. Probe respectively metal contact in the socket at each headlight next to the pointy end of the test oil lamp.

If the test light lights up on one contact for respectively headlight, your switches are fine. Replace the headlights.

If you get any other result, e-mail me the results of what you found.
