ive got partially the engine torn apart, ive got 12vdc to the injector next to the key on but the injector will not pump.
The fuel pump is clean and pressure to the injector is present.
i check the amperage the injector is pulling and my meter reads 0.01A while 12vdc is present
what is unfolding the injector to turn on? or do you have any other accepted wisdom
.
Answers: It's hard because you didn't communicate us on why you are running tests on your injectors.
Usually it's the PCM (Powertrain Control Module) that controls the Grounding Circuit for the Injectors. To determine whether the injector is desperate or if the Circuit is bad is to Perform a Resistance (OHMS) check on the Coil inside of the injector (when doing this, kind sure that you disconnect the Inj clip) by Placing both leads on respectively of the pins on the injector. You should not get. a reading of OFL or anything bar 2-3 OHMS or 14-16 OHMS. If you do get something different than 2-3 or 14-16, you have just found your problem.
If the injector tryout passes, consequently you will have to look at the grounding side of the circuit simply because, you found 12V at the injector.
Hope adjectives of this is helpful........Good Luck
