'93 Ford Explorer windshield wipers stuck.?

Had snow and ice . Tried wipers and they stopped within the middle of the windshield . Could it be a fuse or wiper motor?
Any ideas whats involved and whats the cost?
Thanks

How long should a set of tires...

Answers:    It could be the linkage or the motor, if you stir out to your vehicle and can easily move your wipers support and forth then it is most potential linkage.. the fuse is an obvious problem i.e. a no brainer, just check the fuse.. for is not agreed for making the best wiper motor and with it one 15 years old my money is on the motor.

Your thoughts on the investigational expensive oil?

Its any the fuse since you overloaded it, easiest to check..... secondly the linkage between them and the motor may have seperated, they also enjoy a nut where they both connect at the basis that can be tightened, then after thats checked the motor would be the ultimate culprit.
