Ok I have a 1995 Honda civic ex and after i drive it for awhile and then permit the car sit for 10 - 15 minutes, even for a day the subsequent time I turn on the car it starts in a greatly low idle (hot or cold)
and does it for like 5-10 second and then goes away and if I turn the saloon on and allow it to do that till if fixes itself and turn it off and then fund on it turns on fine. The only way i hold noticed to make it turn on honourable is after i'm done driving to vent the radiator by opening the cap and letting the pressure out.
(I only just recently changed the radiator on the car similar to a week & a half ago.)
please help,
sincerely;
David
However, your car may not be getting enough nouns during idle. Replace or make sure your nouns cleaner is not clogged.
Also, clean your Idle Air Control (IAC) valve. It is bolted, against the throttle surrounded by the back by 2 or 3 bolts, with an intake and output hose for juice coolant, and a wire harness to control the IAC motor.
I've had to verbs the screen mesh inside the IAC valve for my Civic EX '95 beside carburator cleaner as thick sticky gunk easily builds up and can prevent it from deliver proper air mixture to your engine during idle.
The IAC spout is used by the computer to maintain the correct engine idle speed. When you released the pressure from your radiator, your computer may hold responded by increasing your idle speed automatically.
Good luck!
It sounds resembling you have a major nouns bubble in the cooling system that is messing next to the temp sensor. I would bleed it off right away because that can cause a cracked cylnder director.
Answers: A coolant nouns bubble is certainly a possibility, but I would also try cleaning your IACV and other idle valve. Check out the DIY in my sources list.

If your radiator fan comes on as soon your engine heats up during rot, your top hose feels hot, and your bottom hose feels colder, after I believe your radiator is doing it's job - that is to simply recirculate your hot coolant and return the fluid under colder temperatures to sustain cool your engine.However, your car may not be getting enough nouns during idle.
