96 Pontiac Sunfire keep overheating after replacing the thermostat twice...............?

It started out replacing the radiator hose and since has turned into a nightmare. I've checked to clear sure that the water pump is working and hold replaced the thermostat twice just to be safe and sound and the damn thing still is overheating. The leader gasket is fine because the engine doesn't smoke a bit but the thing will not stop over heat. HELP!!

are your fan running? turn on the AC, if the fans aren't running(in front of the radiator) near is a problem there....

It's also possible that you enjoy a cracked head....

Well until you/we find the problem...(might be the radiator) i say vacate the Thermo out and it should not over heat later...(it could be a BAD batch of Thermos)

Answers:    replace the radiator and make sure the electric disciple is kicking on when it is supposed to.

Just installed up to date handlebars on...


sometimes if you dont hold the proper mix of antifreeze (if you run pure water) the head itself will erode, and the coolant is going places it should not budge and not cooling effectively. is the radiator itself ok? electric fan? if electric does it cycle on and rotten like it should?
