I was told that my windshield wiper control board have gone bad and to be exact why my wipers only work when they discern like it. The mechanic requirements $150 to replace this part. I call the local part store and the portion is only $30. I would similar to to save money and do it myself but hold NO idea where on earth its located. The guy at the part store seem to think it would be an confident task even for a girl :) So if someone could make available me a ball park place I will hop on a stool and return with it fixed before I bring stuck with no wipers again.
Answers: If you dont know where on earth it is, have a professional fix it. Either that or step to the pros at auto zone and ask them to look it up on alldata for you, you can probably even get a printout on how to fix it.
It should be module of the wiper motor itself (at least it is next to a 97 blazer and they probably are about the same) I enjoy replaced one in a blazer and it wasnt the easiest item in the world. Since your problem have been diagnosed, I would ring up around to other shops and see what they can do as far as price.
