ok i have fixed everything and got it started today immediately i need a lil help beside a hose prob... ok there is a hose that comes from the pasanger front side of intake... there is a nut type entity that screws into the intake and the hose goes inside of it very well half of the nut broke off contained by the intake and there is nothing to seize onto to turn it so i can get it lose can someone help me integer out how to get this broken piece out so i can put the new one on
That is for coolant. The best thing is to soak it down real polite with pb blaster for an hour and get a significant easy out and gently remove it. I own done this many times but make sure you soak it very well first, if it breaks in the intake, you will need to replace the intake. Call your local chevy dealership if you call for more help on the proper sized easy out.
Answers: You can use an extractor (easy out) to remove the broken piece. They if truth be told sell a kit for this.
or
use a really small hacksaw blade and cut into the wall of the broken fitting, then use a small chisel to break it away and remove, this is not as hard as it sounds, the metal is soft,,, I enjoy done hundreds of these

Just put petrol within a diesel motor...
so the electric fire hose quick disconnect fitting broke don't feel bleak it happens alot on these vehicles,i enjoy an extractor tool that i purchased from snap on tools to remove the broken fitting,when i didn't have the tool what i used was a hacksaw blade and cut slits on the brocken fitting individual careful not to cut into the threads of the intake,then freshly carefully chisel the split pieces out.Take a hack saw blade and start cutting whats not here of the piece in the intake into 1/4 being wary to go down to the threads but not into them (if looking straight down into the hole into the intake cut it like you be cutting a pie) Then take a small sledge hammer and chisel and break off the pieces you cut the fitting into.
