when i bought the car i asked the street trader to replace the stock stereo with aftermarket. this requires a full new console. he replaced it and adjectives the climate control functions worrk but the rear defroster button does nil. the light doesnt even come on. i dont want to rupture out the console until i know what to do. how can i fix it and what parts do i need to buy?

Check the wires that are connected to the grid to be sure they are attached.
