A reverse Turbocharger?

I recently have a friend who claims that he can install a rear turbo charger on my 2005 3.5 Nissan Altima. Has anyone hear of one or had any experiences beside this product?

So it isnt unheard of. You will lose 1lb of boost because the turbos are located in the reverse, but the turbos run 100 degrees cooler which make for more efficient boost.

It is a reverse mount turbo kit. There is one company who make them, but I don't remember who. They work, I haven't heard much whether its better or worse. I own seen a 800 hp BMW next to twin rear mount turbos though. In supposition, it would work very capably. Aside from the large amount of piping essential, it removes the turbo from the engine compartment, relieving a large amount of grill...plus gives you more room. So yes, he is correct, it can be done. Probably more hassle than its worth on your specific vehicle, but it can be done.
