ABS lantern on?

I recently have some brake work done on my car and in a minute the ABS light is on. This never happen before going to the mechanic. Before going, my antilock brakes would come on involuntarily, the mechanic fixed that but presently the ABS light is coming on. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Answers: Anti-lock brake systems are not required by law to be working (only on spanking new vehicles) and will not affect your brakes in any agency unless you slam the brakes, then they'll simply lock up like on an elder vehicle until you release the brake pedal. If you had a "cheap repair" done, adjectives your mechanic did was disconnect the ABS module. This tricks your ECM into thinking something is wrong and throw a mil (malfunction indicator lamp) on. Otherwise, he did replace it and didn't hook it up. (actually happen more than you would think)

you need to christen your mechanic and tell them, it could be a flex, or it could be something else, but they should fix it for you
