Do not hold a tube installed unless of course, you want to die. Tubeless tires are tubeless for a reason and tubes are NEVER an approved substitute for a solid repair.

Most likely the leak is cause by the buildup of corrosion in the bead seat nouns of the rim which is extremely common, expecially with Chrysler chrome rims (the corrosion cause the chrome to flake off). Have the tire dismounted and the corrosion ground off. Any tire shop will have done this going on for a zillion times.

first i would take the rim to a tire shop that can dunk the full tire and rim together in a water reservoir, that way you will be sure its the rim and not the tire leaking, if it is the rim you can use a latex paint on the inside of the rim and it will trademark up any porous leaks,

Maybe, but check it or have it checked for more serious problems -like a crack or fracture. If a fracture is the source of your air slick you should have the rim replaced or repaired(if you can get someone to weld it up).

it could have be driven till the bead came off. thieve it to a tire shop, there may be dirt between the the tire and rim. have you tried some soapy hose down and a rag? wipe all around the tire and rim and keep under surveillance for bubbles, this will atleast tell you where its leak.
