I have a 94 Camaro, automatic v6 3.4 L. It runs capably, considering the age of the car. Anytime I imbue up the coolant reservoir, it goes down to out-and-out minimum even after short drives. After pouring more coolant in, I will drive it, park it, and afterwards notice a puddle of coolant forms beneath the front of the car, more towards the passenger side (which is the common area of the reservoir). There is no coolant within the oil. It does not run more than ever hot, but does rise above my comfort level surrounded by stop and go traffic. In reality, the temperature is optimal at high-ranking speeds. I brought it to my mechanic for a brief look (didn't have time to explain adjectives these details to him) and he said it was probably the radiator. Granted, he looked at it for give or take a few half a minute. Furthermore, and I want to read out this is unrelated, when I run the AC, water drips on the inside of the coup¨¦, on the passenger side. I've been told from other sources that something is probably clogged next to debris. Thanks within advance!
Answers: Last issue first. It's colloquial for water to drip when the AC is running. All it is is condensation from the radiator condenser. A puddle of hose would be on the passenger's side close to the firewall (next to the passenger compartment.
From what you describe, you do not have a leaky pave the way gasket. If you did, you would see coolant mixed with grease in both the radiator and on the dipstick.
I'm thinking that your radiator panama might not be holding the proper pressure. This would cause the radiator fluid to boil at a lower heat.
The issue with coolant on the ground might be due to a impossible radiator cap. Or it could also be from overfilling the radiator. (Check the specs.)
Is the green puddle of coolant cause by an overflow of the reservoir? If not, then where on earth is it leaking?
If everything is intact near not leak, consequently I would really suspect the radiator cap is not holding proper pressure.
You can own them checked, but they're so cheap you can just travel out an buy one for less than $10.
Also, is your coolant nice and green? Or is it rusty? If it's rusty, you might want to flush the system first. But a word of notice. Sometimes flushing a system will cause it to soak from a weak spot. But it's better to find the unconvincing spot now fairly than when you're on the road.
Hey man.could be your stove core?thats usually placed on the passenger side but unsure where this would be placed. In the weekend, help yourself to a look on dry concrete or driveway and take a righteous look at where the fluid is coming from. Then nick it into your local and show them where it is coming from and would close to it fixed
