Any vehicle body repair experts out in that (we live within the UK)?

My son as just purchased a "Peugeot 206" (1.4 glx, 2-door, shadowy red) "S" registration, Private sale local serious newspaper.

Question please :-

The car is surrounded by good condition for the year and as be well looked after, and come at a good price.

But :- the drivers door contained by the top left appendage corner had a substance spilled on it which tatty the paint work basically the door be touched up but is noticeable.

What would it cost realistcally for my son to hold the small area rubbed down and resprayed or would it be better to enjoy the door resprayed

This would be out of is own pocket and not through the insurance.

*** PS we were aware of the door on purchase and took the price into justification.

Do you prefer carbeurated or fuel injected?...

Answers:    I had something done to the corner of Seat Ibiza not long ago. I remunerated about lb110 for one panel to be resprayed, and it looked as perfect as new. The problem be it looked TOO good; the rest of the paintwork have faded over the years, and the newly sprayed panel stuck out resembling a sore thumb. I was really disappointed, but they garage have done their job exactly as instructed.
If the car's surrounded by good condition, and drives capably, then I wouldn't lose too much sleep over a panel near a discoloured corner. A better question is how this product get spilt on the door in the first place - have the door been removed for some pretext? Was the car mortal repaired after an accident? If so, be THAT declared before the Dutch auction?
If someone was silly plenty to spill paint stripper on their car, they deserve to lose a couple hundred past its sell-by date the resale price.

Lights are on, but nobody is home?
