The shop I took my car to installed the dimpled/slotted rotors so that they point forward, instead of backwards. I'm pretty sure they're supposed to point to the reverse of the car. Will this hurt grill dispersion? The brakes work, I'm just wondering if they're broken as efficiently as possible.
Answers: They are on backwards. They should point to the reverse of the car. Yes, they are ruined as efficiently as possible.
If you're tracking the vehicle, this is a concern, but if this car see no track time, I wouldn't worry roughly speaking it.
Did you purchase the rotors yourself and have the shop install them or did you purchase them through the shop? If you purchased them look for your paperwork/instructions that come with them. If not walk back to the shop and ask them. Unless your going to be race around Laguna Seca or something similar I would not worry roughly speaking it.
A really unpromising engine rumpus!?
