I have a Mitsubishi Galant and replaced my battery and alternator surrounded by the past few days. When I start the car everything seem fine until the car actually warm up and the RPM drops right below the 1..When I rev it to about 2000 the lights go out...Should I clutch the chance of driving it up to autoparts and getting it tested or take it out and in recent times bring it in..I'm hoping they didn't give me a defective alternator..Please help :(

When your saying the car drops down to 1 are you consequence 1000? Cuz your idle should be around 700 rpms. If it's having problems idle I would look into getting a tune-up and a fuel filter changed.
