Battery restrained is on changed a few things WHERE ARE THE FUSIBLE LINKS!? HELP!!!?

I have a 97' Ford Taurus 3.0. The freestyle light kept going on and sour. Finally stayed on, and the car died. Alternator tested BAD. Put on a tentative tensioner (was seized), changed the alternator, and light is still on........Alternator fuse surrounded by the distribution box is good. Battery changed, and lantern is STILL on and battery dies! WHERE ARE THE FUSIBLE LINKS ON THIS CAR AND WHAT ELSE COULD IT BE!? NEED ANSWERS ASAP! THANKS

Answers:    If the mobile light is on, it is not getting charged by the alternator. The fuseable links are across the world right next to the mobile or the solonoid, if it is fender mounted; sometimes the one you seek is right at the alternator inwardly the wire. Usually, they are stained with a small tab right on the chain stating it is a fuseable link. If you hold battery voltage at the significant post at the back of the alternator, the interconnect is good. Sometimes hot alternators are bad, hence warrantees. There is a grounding tab on the voltage regulator, located on the pay for of the alternator; ground it and see if your voltage spikes. If so, the regulator is bad and you involve to re-replace the alternator. If not, you have electric wiring problems. Take a good look at the plug-in connectors, brand name sure they fit well. i would be sure and own the new alternator tested be sure and check your ground cable your battery cable could also be discouraging
