My alternator has just be replaced in my 2000 VW Golf. However the car stereo and the lights on the radiator switches below the stereo will not work. My local garage has checked the fuse box and all fuses are fine.Where can the fuse be found for the stereo and tear lights for the heaters?
Try fuses 37 & 42 in the interior fuse box.
Answers: try taking the stereo out, there is a fuse at the back of the section.
if the dash lights are OK then its probably a blown bulb ,to tuning the bulb simply pull out the middle knob at the heater control panel, near is a small bulb than can be tricky to get out.in the trade its call a snot bulb for obvious reasons so you enjoy an idea what your looking for.
