Brake press?

I have a 2005 Ford Escape. I took it backbone in September for a brake inspection to Les Schwab and they turned my front rotors, and said the rear legs rotors, shocks & pads needed to be replaced. I did not own it done because they did not have the parts surrounded by stock.

I just go back to a different Les Schwab on Saturday - because I have a nail contained by my tire - and I bought my tires there. I have them do another brake inspection - this time they told me my back brakes are fine, but my front bearing need to be replaced. I hold alittle over 50k miles on my car.

Are they trying to be paid some money here or what? How could the results from the inspections have be so different?

Answers:    at 50,000 miles I doubt you need your flipside brakes replaced. also I doubt the front wheel bearing are bad. I suggest you ask around and find a reputable shop to check out your escape. One item to remember when dealing with places approaching Les Scwab and Mieniki and other chain auto repair stores is that they usually don't settle real economically and normally don't enjoy the best trained or experienced folks working for them.
