I bought 2005 H.Accord couple of weeks back. when i apply brake just minimum its getting applied a lot(stopping suddenly),I aim very fast deceleration, thats what honda guys told. They asked me to bring wager on later.I just want to know is this a problem atall and is it fixable.Overall the saloon is awesome but for the brake problem. Can someone please answer me as of what is the best thing i need to do.i know honda guys are arranged to ripp me off.thanks surrounded by advance
If it's been close to this since you bought it, perhaps it's how it's supposed to be.
If it started doing this all of a sudden, it doesn't nouns like anything mechanical.
If the brakes are tied into the onboard computer, it may be a software glitch. But I don't know why they would be.
It take a few dozen miles for new pads/shoes get worn to the contour of the older rotors/drums, when they seat in they work rather better, but what you're describing sounds dramatic.
There's a possibility that the vacuum hose actuating the power brakes was put onto the wrong place and is getting too much vacuum. I know every time I permit someone else work on my car they put something back together wrong, especially the three vacuum lines going to my carb/manifold. (I hold a very simple car)
This is fixable, and take it backbone to the dealer. By the time a garage figure it out you will enjoy a bunch of money in it. GOOD LUCK
IF YOU HAVE DRUM BRAKES IN THE REAR IT COULD BE AS SIMPLE AS A CLEAN AND ADJUST OF THE REAR BRAKES,THERE COULD ALSO BE OTHER PROBLEMS THOUGH,TAKE IT TO ANOTHER SHOP,MOST BRAKE ESTIMATES ARE DONE FOR FREE.

Answers: It's not a problem you just enjoy to get used to it. I know exactly what you mean though, when i first get a job at BMW, some brakes were so sharp i be making chirping noises, manager didn't nurture though when i said sorry, he said it's just normal and i'll a short time ago get used to it

If you have went from have a car with ABS to one short, it will take some getting used to. Cars without ABS are alot touchy-er.
Your mature car may have have soft brakes and you came to know that as normal.
One tip though, check the mat isn't beneath the brake pedal, this will cause you to push the pedal harder than needed to get bygone the mat.
