I went on a trip for a week and when i get back i tried to fire her up and it took longer than usual to start. When i finally get it started i filled up at the gas station. 15 or 20 miles down the road i heared some support fire and that the tank be already half futile! when i pulled over it was idle very low. i drove to the auto shop next to one foot on the gas and one on the break. what could be the problem? how much should i expect to pay? this van is surrounded by good shape and hasn't have and serious problems! thanks for your minister to!

Answers: Could be a leak at the plinth of the carburetor, where within should be a gasket that may have be eaten away... or it could be a percolate in the fuel stripe under the vehicle, or a hole surrounded by the gas tank. Whatever it is, it's a pretty discouraging leak. It won't be cheap unless you enjoy a mechanic friend.
