Can I fit a 3.8 v6 from an 89 T bird into a 78/80 Fairmont?

I have an 89 t bird next to a grest engine and bad tranny. I want to install it into a Ford Fairmont. I know the most popular installation is the 302, but I do not hold access to that, so I was newly thinking>>>

Do I hold to make the addition...

Answers:    It will go contained by. If you plan to keep it fuel injected, you will enjoy to use the T-Bird computer and wiring. You will also inevitability to think around the fuel system. The T-bird has a hgh pressure pump within the tank, and a continuos flow, regulated at the engine, while the Fairmont have a low pressure/volume engine driven pump which was regulated by the nozzle and seat within the carb.

You can change the V6 to average aspiration (carb), and change out the distributor so that the artistic "Dura-Spark" system that is on the fairmont will work. Then you wont want the T-Bird computer. You will still need an electric fuel pump to supply gas to the carb.

It will be abundantly of work and trouble to do this, and when you are done you will still have a 78/80 Fairmont on which you will own spent at least twice what it is worth to produce it run!

Are warranty by Toyota Dealerships on parts...

it shouldn't be a problem, most likely a drop surrounded by.
