thats it
yeah they would work. but they would ride different than the original tires. i did that same thing an when i get up speed in 55mph an up the car shook. i would of late do it right the first time. unless you are buying yourself some time to get the correct size tire i wouldnt do it.
Yes you can, but the 205/60R15 size has a smaller diameter, so you'll acquire an error with your speedometer and odometer. Plus ride quality will probably dance down a notch. So it's not really recommended (unless the original tires be 205's in which case you would purely be correcting a long-time problem)

Answers: I guess as long as they clear the wheel well and don't rub on anything. Being 15's they should fit on the rims but it is purely a metter of width and height on your truck/car. My friend transferred 14's to 15's by simply drilling an extra hole for lugs. Drove it for years minus problems but here it is not the case. Try measuring the ground to wheelwell and wideness inside. Then measure the tire radius and width. It should work if it is a truck but conceivably not a car. Actually I was thinking the differing way and did not read question clearly. Going smaller should work short problems. The smaller tires will not ride as good though.
