Can I reuse a commander gasket?

I just finished reinstalling my heads near fresh gaskets. When I was reattaching the trans. fluid dipstick, I accidnetly broke the bolt off surrounded by the head. without the dipstick individual attached, it leaks trans fluid through that hole. Can I take the guide of, extract the bolt, and reuse that head gasket?

no, sorry, you cant reuse a lead gasket, once you torqued the bolts. if thats all thats wrong with it, leak anti-freeze through the hole, then drain the anti-freeze and dry the hole out and fill the hole near high temperature gasket inventor, i did that once and it never leaked.

Will a cylinoid on a start blow...

Answers:    NO

Once crushed... a head gasket is done. They're metal base crush gaskets... when you torque down your head bolts, it seats, here is no going back... and if you do try to reuse it, you're setting yourself up for more work, because it will leak.

A herald gasket can be temper-mental, even dropping one on the ground can damage it... save the headache... catch a new one!

- Good Luck!
