yes please dont say anything that will make the organization take notice. They want their taxes for shue
Only if its a diesel to fire up with, and if its been modified to do so. Yes, they WILL run on cooking grease if not modified for a short time-but damage to the injectors and clogging is adjectives .
Answers: it will run on veg oil no probs. this time of year u should use a mix of oil and diesel at3/1. it will run fine close to this WITHOUT any modifications. if using used oil i would suggest that u put the oil through a couple of fuel filter to clean it before putting it contained by your car. i had an infirm cavalier and it went fine doing it that way. no production difference whatsoever. i went on to fabricate separate tanks for jeeps which used the cars cooling system to heat the oil aswell. be careful if you try this on a more modern engine similar to the common rail diesel or equivalent. i deliberate the injectors are too fine or pump is too weak... definetly 1 of the 2. old combo van should be ok. especially if its the isuzu engine.

No, he is not pulling your leg. Any diesel engine can be run with vegetable oil. The solely drawback is that some cooking oils contain additional stuff which might impair the engine, or build up sediments after a while.

It is possible but not actually lawful. The government comes down hard on anyone not paying taxes, and the majority of the cost of diesel is export tax. Diesel itself is probably cheaper than cooking oil, but food oil is not tax at the same level at fuel grease. It is possible apparently ...but I don't know how.
