Answers: yes, you can. especially if you installed it yourself. I would advise against it though. Inevitably, one of in this day and age, you(or someone else that drives you car and you forget to transmit them)are going to forget to place the trans in nonpartisan and set the parking brake. Of course you can wire it to the parking brake switch so that it wouldn't start unless you enjoy the parking brake on but then in attendance is still the trans part. even if you have the park brake on, if it's in gear, your gonna regret it.
