Answers:    NO! Premium fuel is required for any engine next to a power adder such as a supercharger or turbo. The octane is needed to prevent predetonation due to the higher cylinder pressures. When predetonation occur it creates very dignified temperatures and sledge hammer like forces that can interrupt pistons and head gaskets. The short altered copy, 87 octane will cause expensive chief engine damage, with the sole purpose use the best fuel.
